Following the success of Metal Gear Solid was Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, known as Integral in Japan and Special Missions in Europe. Featuring over 300 VR Missions and new modes suchs as Puzzle and Mystery, VR Missions expanded on the basic VR Training package selectable from the main menu of the original Metal Gear Solid. The game also allowed players to control the Cyborg Ninja for a short section of missions. Unlike the European Special Missions disc, VR Missions doesn't require the original game in order to be played.
